views sculpture as a journey toward an ever-expanding horizon. constantly pushing to broaden the technical and material boundaries of his artistic practice, Joe works with wood, bronze, steel and stone, the common thread being a fascination in the process of discovery and respect for the forms that emerge.
After many years in the fine art bronze industry in the Southwest, he now lives in Grafton, Vermont with his wife and son. He enjoys all that Vermont has to offer and draws inspiration from the natural world around him. His studio work, including his most recent collection of ‘chimeras,’ aims to convey a whimsical and oftentimes humorous vision of our modern world, executed with precise classical craftsmanship.
